Every child opens the door to the world in his life from the moment he comes to this worldIn the amazing world of children, everything is new, strange,  and worthy of exploring.

It is necessary for children to understand the world and acquire the cultural knowledge at home and outside during the early stages of their brain development.Immerse children into a full English environment from original books, and other multimedia resources, this can not only enhance children’s knowledge, but also stimulates their interest in learning.

Children's access to knowledge in addition to a small part of daily life, most of the rest from popular science books, popular science reading, not only can stimulate children's desire to explore, thinking ability and logical thinking ability can also be effectively promoted.

Hurston Kindergarten recently introduced a special course, the National Geographic STEM education program, which is tailor-made for children aged 3-6. Abundant color picture books, on the theme of the world and the universe, nature and humanities, provide a variety of popular science knowledge, can help comprehensively improve children's language learning ability and inspire children's imagination .

On May 28th, US National Geographic photographer and course teacher Tony visited Hurston Kindergarten to unveil the mystery of "National Geographic STEM Education Project" sharing "How to integrate National Geographic elements into daily life for parents, and how to play interactive games with children".

National Geographic Science is a set of reading books for the initial stage of science learning that is in line with the American Science Education Program and has a complete system. It combines science learning with nature and the real world, and integrates beauty, vision, and pattern into this process. A large number of real scenes and natural stories "from heaven to earth" allow children to truly feel: science is visible and tangible, science is emotional and warm, and science is even beautiful and romantic. This is a perfect encounter between "rigorous science education" and "true and splendid geography and humanities on this planet"

When it comes to National Geographic, we immediately think of the natural and cultural scenes of the world with extremely high resolution. In fact, the greatest charm of National Geographic over the years is that it uses breathtaking photos and stories to reflect the real world we live in. It has a wide field of vision, a large layout, and is extremely beautiful and poetic.

When this real world is combined with children's scientific enlightenment, an extremely beautiful experience arises from this. You can even feel that this is not just a book or a lesson, but a hymn to nature and life that children can understand.

Life Science

In the diverse ecological environment of the earth, the enlightenment of life sciences begins.

In the volcanic forests of Hawaii, for example, watching the life course of this American Hummingbird, called the I 'Iwi, helps understand what the life cycle is.

Learn the concept of Habitat in the vast prairies of North America.

This is the skull of a dead animal. Its body is already decayed. It melts into the soil and becomes nutrients, nourishing a new generation of plants and animals on the grassland.

In this real and magnificent natural scene, we can understand the relationship between energy-driven life, energy and the food chain, and even begin to comprehend the relationship between "life" and "death".

Or, in an alligator-infested southern swamp, learn the difference between living things and nonliving things.

In the deserts of America, understanding the symbiosis of plant and animal life.

Earth Science

Come to the Midwestern United States and feel the wind in the endless wheat fields.

Understanding how nature's water cycle works provides a cognitive foundation for studying weather and climate, an important area of earth science.

Change the scene, come to Iceland "water" and "fire" .

Experience Volcanoes, earthquakes, weathering, erosion. The great forces of nature that shape our planet.

Or come to India for the Holi Festival, when the moon is full around March. On This Day, the city is full of colorful, people will be colorful paint and powder thrown at each other.

About the Moon's change, the poet wrote, "men have joys and sorrows, and the moon has its ups and downs. " In human life, it is our lantern festival, India's Holi, Mexico's Cinco de Mayo, this is an important chapter in Earth Science: The Phase... The beautiful thing is that all of these things can be mixed together to feel, to learn.

Physical Science

The enlightenment of "Force" in physics began with a "movement on the snow" .

Push, pull, and even magnetic force are ubiquitous in all kinds of snow sports.

Or, at a dig in Grand Canal, Experience real-world force and motion, and observe how hordes of bulldozers push.

And how magnetism can give a huge pull on a train.

Or go camping by the lake between the mountains.

At the campsite, really feel the different forms of matter (solid, liquid, gas) and the changes between them.

In this way, wouldn't science education be best if we could teach our children what science is really for, in the very early stages of science learning, to be driven by curiosity, by a desire to learn, and by an innate desire to explore science?

There are three levels of the series, 108 volumes in all. Not only does the content go up, but the language is graded, and each level corresponds to the American science syllabus.

This is the creation team of National Geographic.

Teacher Tony showed some picture books of Heston's National Geographic course for parents. Let us use the screen to experience the wonderful science learning experience that is combined with "systematic science education" and "the gorgeous real world under the lens of National Geographic".

For example, you can do it with your child, look at the plants near your home and point out the different parts of each plant. Guide your child to grow a seed with mom and dad and take care of it. discuss the needs of growing plants? What conditions do they need to thrive?

Hurston's new special course, the National Geographic STEM education program, is dedicated to all children who want to venture on earth, to stimulate curiosity and open their imagination.

Next stop,Lets go!
