Bilingual Curriculum

 

Inquiry curriculum is the core curriculum of the Hurston Kindergarten. Chinese and English teachers work together to guide children to explore learning through group teaching mode. Use the way of inquiry to develop their own behavior interact with the course content, construct their internal ideological understanding in the process of interaction, and find the opportunity to put into action from the ideological understanding. Children are encouraged to use both their hands and their brains to develop trans-disciplinary thematic activities. With six key subjects as teaching content, namely language, mathematics, science, social, art and pspe. Integrating the teaching of six subject into six themes of global significance: who we are, where we are in  place and time, how we express ourselves, how the world works, and how we organize ourselves and sharing the planet. In the process of inquiry learning, children will form their understandings of important concepts, and concept-driven learning will connect knowledge and skills at the same time, forming a positive attitude and learning to take responsible actions.
